FLEX SEARCH

Where can I actually go with what I have?

Pick an origin, a region, a budget. Avenyra mines its longitudinal availability data for the cheapest combinations of route, date, and program currently bookable. The only tool that searches in this direction.

We return one card per destination, headlined by the cheapest program publishing that route, with alternate programs listed below. The ceiling caps the headline price (e.g. enter 80,000 and you'll only see routes a program is selling for 80k miles or less). It's a face-value cap on any chart, not a wallet total. To filter by your actual currency balances (Amex MR, Aeroplan, etc), use Wallet Search.

One row per destination. Last 36 hours of snapshots, cheapest first.

02 / Award calendar

When are award seats open? Award seat = a seat the airline releases for booking with frequent flyer miles instead of cash. Only a handful per flight typically open up, and they come and go as the flight fills. The calendar shows you which dates currently have award seats so you can plan around availability.

Pick a route and cabin. Optionally narrow by airline or mileage program if you have one in mind. Avenyra surfaces every date in the next 90 days with award seats open. Click any green date to see which programs have seats, the exact miles cost, the taxes, and a direct link to book on the airline's own site.

03 / Mileage upgrade

Upgrade with miles, not cash. Mile cost depends on the carrier. You can only upgrade an existing paid ticket using the operating carrier's frequent flyer program (or a partner program that explicitly supports upgrades on that metal). KrisFlyer charges different miles than AAdvantage, even on the same route, because each program has its own zone-based upgrade chart and eligible booking class rules.

You hold a paid economy or premium ticket. Pick the operating carrier so Avenyra ranks every program that can actually lift you to the next cabin on that flight, by miles + cash co-pay + availability difficulty.

Upgrade balances are read from the Optimize section's airline frequent flyer programs above. Different carriers charge different miles for the same upgrade.

ValidateScore a fare · Cheaper origin
04 / Deal scorer

Is this fare a deal, or a trap?

Paste a fare. The scorer compares it to distance-adjusted regional baselines and ranks it from Mistake Fare to Expensive on a seven-tier scale.

05 / Positioning

Find a cheaper origin. Positioning = flying a short, cheap leg to a different origin city where business class fares to your real destination are dramatically lower. Carriers price the same long-haul fare differently from different origins. Pick a carrier to see gateways known for that airline (Singapore Airlines is cheap ex-CMB, Lufthansa cheap ex-OSL or ex-CPH, etc.).

Drive radius alternates plus cross region gateways like Toronto, Lisbon, Bogotá, Mexico City, and Dublin can shave 20 to 50 percent off a long haul fare. Optionally narrow by carrier.
